At SkinCeuticals SkinLab Winter Park, by Jeffrey Hartog, M.D., our team of dedicated and talented estheticians, laser specialists, and injectable experts are ready to serve you in our modern location in Winter Park Village. Michelle Hartog APRN, Liz Pain APRN, and Jeffrey Hartog, DMD, MD bring more than 50 years of combined experience in advanced skin care, facial injectables and laser treatments for all skin types through restoration and maintenance of your skin health and natural beauty through the pursuit of facial balance. Dr. Hartog is double board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery. He serves as the medical director of SkinCeuticals SkinLab in Winter Park. Dr. Hartog holds a long-standing belief that the only path to complete facial rejuvenation is through beautiful skin.

Michelle Hartog began her nursing career after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Florida State University. She worked in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine and Hyperbaric Medicine in Miami, Florida where she met her husband Jeffrey Hartog, MD. They relocated to Dallas, TX, where she continued in this area of practice and received a Master of Healthcare Science from Texas Wesleyan University in Ft. Worth, TX. She and Dr. Hartog moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where Michelle worked as a clinical coordinator for a group of pediatric surgeons.
In 1993, Michelle and Dr. Hartog decided to settle back in Florida to take on Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine full time. They started The Bougainvillea Clinique in 1996 and built a reputation of consistently natural results and a welcoming environment. The Aesthetic Surgery Center of Winter Park was established in 2002 as an on-site ambulatory space and Michelle served as Clinical Director. She also had the unique opportunity of learning and applying Botox Cosmetic and dermal fillers at their inception for use in aesthetics alongside Dr. Hartog. She is a Master Injector and faculty member of Allergan Medical Institute as a trainer for Botox, Juvederm and other Allergan products. While at the Bougainvillea Clinique, she transformed the office into a SkinCeuticals Flagship. Their longstanding staff embraced the collaboration and were able to take patient care to the next level.
Michelle is looking forward to the next venture with SkinCeuticals at the SkinLab Winter Park with her colleague and business partner Elizabeth “Liz” Pain APRN. Michelle and Liz have collated a talented team of providers to offer the area the best skincare facility in the area dedicated to SkinCeuticals products and signature treatments.
She has participated in speaking engagements with SkinCeuticals and various other aesthetic entities. Michelle serves as mentor to all levels of injectors because she is passionate about proper technique and safe treatments. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys her two Golden Retrievers, a longtime lifestyle of dancing and exercise, and traveling with Dr. Hartog to concerts, diving, and seeing their adult children.
Liz Pain, APRN

Liz Pain, APRN is an Orlando native with over 20 years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine.
Her career started in 2002 as an aesthetician which lead her to the door steps of The Bougainvillea Clinique where she worked alongside Jeffrey Hartog, MD and Michelle Hartog, APRN for 18 years. Liz's passion for skin and patient care before and during facial plastic surgery opened the door for further education. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Central Florida and continued to Florida Southern's School of Nursing for a Master of Science in Nursing Adult Gerontology degree.
Prior to embarking on nursing, Liz achieved a license in Electrology with an additional certification in Laser Hair Removal. She taught the Laser and Light Based Hair Removal course at The LaserSkin Institute and became very comfortable and well versed in laser physics. This skill provided the incredible opportunity to be a National Trainer for the leading aesthetic device company Cutera. She travels the United States and Puerto Rico multiple times a month to train and teach laser physics to doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and laser technicians. Liz finds time to connect with the aesthetic industry in this capacity out of true love for laser treatments and offering her years of experience to new providers.
SkinCeuticals SkinLab of Winter Park is the latest chapter of Liz's Aesthetic Medicine journey that all previous education and work experience have lead up to. She has the honor of treating the skin and its conditions, providing anti-aging and corrective procedures to patients seeking holistic aesthetic care. In the 12 years of providing neurotoxin and dermal fillers, she prides herself on preserving facial balance and harmony through natural facial rejuvenation. The partnership with SkinCeuticals, Jeffrey Hartog, MD and Michelle Hartog, APRN allows for the perfect cocktail of science based skincare and the magic of an almost decades long relationship that just- works.

When Liz is not being an Aesthetic Medicine fanatic, she spends time with her partner in life, Brendon and French Bulldog, Hype. She enjoys the delights of living in Winter Park with her family and friends and travels abroad often, with regular trips to Spain where her maternal family lives. Dancing and music are high on the list of happiness for her as well. Liz looks forward to continuing to learn and lead in this vast practice of medicine.
Olivia Eckel, APRN FNP-C

Olivia Eckel APRN FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner, who is thrilled to join the team at SkinCeuticals Skinlab Winter Park! Olivia has over three years of experience working inFacial Plastic Surgery and has completed extensive aesthetic and injectable training with Galderma, and with Allergan, including training with expert Allergan faculty member, Michelle Hartog, APRN. In addition to injectables, Olivia was educated in lasers, RF micro-needling, and laser hair removal with expert Cutera national trainer, Liz Pain, APRN. She also has extensive experience with fractionated Co2 lasers, specializing in facial resurfacing and rejuvenation, mole removal, and advanced application for rosacea skin conditions. Olivia grew up in Lake Mary, FL, and graduated from UCF in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While at UCF she had the opportunity to pursue her love of drawing and art, studying art history abroad during a summer at Cambridge University in England.
Olivia went on to pursue her second degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at West Chester University in Pennsylvania and after graduation, returned to central Florida, working in emergency medicine and then in surgery. The operating room is where Olivia fell in love with plastic surgery and aesthetics, loving the combination of science and art to positively impact a patient’s life. With the intent of following her passion for Aesthetic Medicine, Olivia earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing from South University and simultaneously began working in Facial Plastic Surgery. Olivia’s artistic eye combined with the innovative treatment options at SkinCeuticals Skinlab Winter Park will help our patients achieve balanced and natural results while in the hands of an expert.
Outside of work Olivia loves spending time with her husband, two children, and two labradoodles! They spend their time going to children’s sporting events, staying active, listening to audio books, and organizing board game nights with friends. When Olivia is not working or with family, she loves to attend trainings and conferences to continue her medical aesthetics education.
